The problem BIGBROTHER solves
Students often face difficulty in collecting reliable notes, finding previous year papers, tracking their syllabus, and getting academic doubts solved. All these resources are usually scattered across WhatsApp groups, seniors, or personal contacts — making it time-consuming and unorganized.
Challenges I ran into
⚡ Integrating multiple modules (Notes, Papers, Syllabus, Doubts) into one platform while maintaining a smooth and fast user experience.
🔐 Implementing OTP-based authentication securely without external paid services was tricky, especially managing token expiries and demo account creation.
🧠 Structuring the database to handle different types of content (files, syllabus data, doubt threads) efficiently took careful planning.
📱 Ensuring a responsive UI that works well on both mobile and desktop screens required multiple iterations.
🔄 Real-time updates for the doubt section and keeping it bug-free during simultaneous interactions was challenging.
🛠️ Deploying on Vercel and managing environment variables securely was initially confusing.
