The problem Bibliobazaar solves

In this age of digital transformation, traditional brick-and-mortar bookshops are grappling with the challenges of maintaining offline sales. Recognizing this shift, I've created an open-source online platform tailored for bookstores to effortlessly transition into the digital realm. Shop owners can seamlessly establish their digital presence by hosting this platform and effortlessly manage their inventory.

Our platform offers a plethora of features designed to enhance the online shopping experience. From personalized notifications for special offers to meticulously curated sections based on genres and categories, we ensure that customers can easily navigate through the virtual shelves. The search functionality enables users to find their desired books effortlessly, be it by author name or title, fostering a user-friendly environment.

Acknowledging the importance of community engagement, our platform allows users to request specific books, creating a dynamic and responsive marketplace. Moreover, we've incorporated a unique feature that encourages the collection of used books from the public, providing an eco-friendly option and expanding the variety of offerings for sale.

Keeping pace with the digital age, our platform facilitates secure online payments, ensuring a smooth and secure transaction process. By seamlessly integrating these features, we empower traditional bookshops to embrace the digital landscape, tap into new markets, and thrive in the evolving world of online commerce.

Challenges I ran into

Devolopment was a bit challenging and I ran into alot of bugs. Selecting the platform to build this was also bit challenging. I had to try different platforms and frameworks before I could complete it.
