People can use this AR experience to instantly access detailed information about beverage ingredients, nutritional facts, and calorie content by simply scanning the product. It streamlines the process of making informed dietary decisions, promoting healthier choices and fostering transparency in beverage consumption. In addition to accessing detailed information about beverage, users can also estimate the calories in their drinks and discover activities to burn them off, promoting not just informed dietary decisions but also facilitating active lifestyles. Plus also includes a feature to verify the authenticity of water bottles, ensuring consumer trust and safety.
Challenges we ran into
Incorporating multiple markers within a single AR experience posed a significant challenge. Ensuring seamless integration with beverage labels and logos required meticulous planning and precise alignment to ensure accurate recognition and interaction.
Designing an AR experience that is not only engaging but also accessible to users of all ages presented another hurdle. Balancing advanced features with intuitive usability required extensive user testing and iterative design adjustments to create a seamless and inclusive experience for all users, regardless of their age or technical proficiency.
