Challenges we ran into
During the project we ran into a series of problems from designing to developing. The most challenging times were :
- Deciding a user friendly design within such a short time for every user to use easily.
- Developing the model for prediction of diseases just by analysing a few symptoms was a real hurdle. Finding the prefect dataset , increasing the model accuracy were also a lot of time consuming.
- Since we are general mern stack devs and django is a rare tech stack for us. In the begining it was kindoff diffcult to merge the React frontend and the django backend.
- While preparing the functionality of selecting the perfect doctor for the patient, our code was returning just an empty array and saying "No doctors found".
- We had to invest a lot of time towards the "uploading prescriptions to the database" feature.
