Challenges we ran into
Challenges We Faced in Evolving NFTs
Evolving NFTs was a key feature, but implementing it came with several hurdles:
1. Gas Efficiency – Frequent metadata updates can be expensive. We optimized contract logic to reduce unnecessary writes.
2. ERC20 Payment Verification – Ensuring correct token transfers before allowing evolution required precise checks to prevent exploits.
3. Metadata Management – Updating the NFT’s URI dynamically without affecting ownership or breaking standards was tricky.
Despite these challenges, we successfully integrated evolving NFTs into our quiz-battle ecosystem, making every upgrade feel earned and valuable!
