The problem Basics Academy solves

We're solving for Fragmented Ecosystem Navigation and High-Friction Onboarding. Unifying Base experience for streamlined learning, earning, and building, Breaking entry barriers with gamified, accessible approach to Base. It's a go to source for anyone looking to get started on Base to anyone who's looking to learn a particular advanced concept. Gamified achievement system with a leaderboard & interactive Challenges. People can level up their Based character by completing learning modules and ecosystem tasks. Later on, we'll be building an ecosystem explorer in it which will help users "discover" new protocols, NFT projects, or games as they progress and rewards for interacting with real Base projects (could be tied to actual airdrops or rewards programs)

Challenges we ran into

At the initial stage we were very confused on what users to target, we didn't wanna go too wide right now like all crypto users or web2 folks who wanna transition to web3. But we wanted to go niche and then we brainstormed to figure out that we're going with targeting other Layer2 users who have no idea about base or even base users who wanna learn a particular advanced concept or simply just explore the base ecosystem dapps, projects and upcoming launches. The second challenge was to outline the content that people wanna learn about and then write it in a casual fun way for users to engage and then we also ideated on small interactive challenges and how do we gamify it better. Bringing all the thoughts together, we put out a MVP right now.
