Gamified and Frictionless Web3 Onboarding. A gamified platform that transforms every act of kindness into an engaging and economically rewarding experience.

Why are you participating for Based LatAm?

I am from Mexico and nothing makes my more motivated that making a difference across Latin America. For the last 14 years I have been working exclusively helping social impact projects and this new platform is my dream commig true. I ran a small test of the project during this hackathon and seeing the impact, engagement and outputs, just makes me even more bullish about the possibilities.

What challenges are you focusing on?

We, Latin American people are very loving and are attracted to doing small actions that create social or environmental impact. The problem is that there are no good economic incentives in place, so is hard to keep doing them when we can barely make ends meet. I believe Web3 will create an open financial system that empowers everyone, whoever they are, wherever they are. So, I built a platform designed to impact local communities and distribute wealth globally in an efficient, frictionless, and gamified manner. I am on a mission to bring millions on-chain, incentivizing profound impact and promoting economic freedom.

How does your submission address this challenge?

I am onboardig people in a very frictionless way, helping them get a smart wallet, sponsoring every transaction, so I am making sure they don't run with any trouble (no username, no password, no seedphrase, no buying eth). // Every player gets a free BaseName and the platform showcases everybody's name in the Leaderboard, this makes the contest very user friendly and improves trust // Everything is done using USDC: The smart contract, the prize pool and the prize delivery to the users. This also makes the contest to be easily understood and avoid using tokens which non-web3 people get confused or afraid about // I am running the contests from the ground-up, by partnering with local community leaders and will grow using impact network effects // I built a platform that gamefies impact actions and adds engaging animations, I want to make sure people really get excited about the contest.

Challenges I ran into

Spent a lot of time making the system to read the ENS and the BaseNames at the same time, I had to create sepparate files and each is calling a different Alchemy provider (mainnet and base network) // Spent a lot of time making the platform mobile responsive, and I solved it by creating totally different sets of containers for desktop and mobile // I had share with contestants links from apple and google explaining how its safe to use their phones keychain. // Had trouble making the Leaderboard drawer to appear on top of the Dashboard, so I decided to hide the dashboard when the leaderboard appears, and put it back when the leadeboard closes // I have yet to figure out and help contestants offramp their USDC in their countries (I know how to do it in Mexico, but need to have the answers for all others).

Cheer Project
