The problem BaseRoll solves
People can use BaseRoll to automate and manage payroll tasks, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. The platform eliminates manual payroll processing, reducing human errors and administrative costs. By using blockchain technology, it provides an immutable and transparent record of all transactions, enhancing security and trust. Employers can manage employee details, track payment history, and ensure compliance with financial regulations effortlessly.
Challenges I ran into
A significant hurdle we faced was managing gas fees for multiple salary transactions, which often led to high costs and inefficiencies. To address this, we integrated with a Paymaster and Bundler service. This allowed us to bundle multiple salary payments into a single transaction, significantly reducing the overall gas fees. This integration not only lowered costs but also improved transaction efficiency, making our payroll process more scalable and cost-effective.
