The problem BaseNFTSniper solves
Before the project, people struggled with finding and minting rare, underpriced NFTs in real-time on Base. Our bot solves this by automatically detecting such opportunities using live market data, filtering by rarity and price, and notifying via Telegram instantly, giving users a competitive edge.
Challenges I ran into
I faced key challenges integrating various APIs like Reservoir and Moralis, formatting and validating contract addresses correctly, and simulating minting while avoiding gas fees. Another challenge was achieving speed without sacrificing accuracy or overwhelming the Telegram bot. We resolved this using asyncio concurrency and simulation mode.
