The problem BasedMemes solves
BasedMemes aims to provide a platform for users and individuals to easily access memes that are synonymous with the web3 space and experience. users will be able to search, find, and upload memes onto the platform.
BasedMemes also aims to empower creators by developing an initiative within our product to reward meme creators and active participants in our ecosystem.
Currently, original Meme creators have no existing platforms or mediums to monetize their creations and the tools to build a community. At Basedmemes we offer what they lack and more.
Challenges I ran into
A huge challenge for me while building out the idea for this project was the technical aspect of the dev work although we had a great and novel idea, The technical aspect of the project was crucial to its success.
Building our website to a stage where you can access at least the basic components of what we intend to build has been hard because we do not have the personnel to handle that aspect properly and may have fallen short in its delivery. fixing that will be a major focus for us post-buildathon.
I believe the technical side of the project is subpar at the moment but I believe in the idea and think it can be built with the right personnel and technical skills.
