I am participating for Based Africa because I have seen a lot of people around my region preaching about base and how they have been helped in one way or the other.

Base has been dominating for a while and many based themed event has been happening almost everyday but most of them lack recognition or uniformity when sharing thier event on social media.

Based Events address the following challeges

• Low Publicity: A simple few click to create your event and upload your event design for others to see and share it

• Build on-chain footprint: There is additional functionality that allow you to mint as NFT

• Promote Unifomity on social media, a use case was a popular incident of durov arrest that every project changed their pfp to a similar picture. We encourage the same style to make you and participant of any even have a uniform look online.

• While trying to integrate coinbase smart wallet, I noticed we always have to on VPN which is not a good experience for developer so I took it down and used thirdweb.

• During Integration of Onchain kit, We faced a lot of issue using it and also while generating API key for based events and following the necessary documentation.

• Working as a team and having to have everyone accountable has been a major issue because this is our first time working together as team.
