Why are you participating for Based Africa?
We are participating in this hackathon to solve a problem, contribute and grow professsionally.
What challenges are you focusing on?
Based is focused on three key challenges within the Base ecosystem. First, it addresses the difficulty that builders—developers, designers, and creators—face in connecting with each other. Based brings them together on a single platform, making it easier to network and collaborate. Second, it tackles the challenge of onboarding new users to the blockchain by offering a user-friendly experience and accessible communities that help newcomers get started. Lastly, Based allows users to collaborate directly on projects, providing a space where they can share progress, exchange ideas, and work together more effectively.
How does your submission address this challenge?
Based addresses these challenges by providing a decentralized platform specifically designed for Base builders. It brings together developers, designers, and creators in one space, making it easier for them to connect and collaborate while maintaining control over their data. Through features like communities and channels, builders can engage in discussions, share updates, and find peers working on similar projects. The projects hub allows users to collaborate directly on projects, sharing progress and working together seamlessly. Additionally, Based’s user-friendly interface helps onboard newcomers into the Base ecosystem, making blockchain adoption easier and more accessible.
Challenges we ran into
Challenge: As with any team project, aligning on the vision and maintaining consistent communication across team members was a non-technical hurdle. Balancing differing opinions and focusing on the project’s core goals was essential.
Solution: We set up weekly sync meetings and used collaboration tools like Google Docs for documentation. This ensured that every team member had clarity on the project direction and progress, allowing us to address issues quickly and keep everyone aligned.
Additional Features
It's a new project.
