Base Swiper
Tinder for Zora
The problem Base Swiper solves
Base Swiper turns Zora collectibles on Base into a mobile-first, swipe-driven discovery app.
Swipe to explore; swipe right to instantly buy. Embedded wallet reduces clicks and simplifies checkout, making discovery faster and less intimidating for new users.
Challenges I ran into
- Getting auto-signing to work seamlessly with embedded wallets (started with privy, continued with dynamic and finished the job with web3auth)
- Handling Zora API to create a meaningful feed (indexing of cards etc.)
- Create a smooth experience for the user
- The embedded browser in the Base app and Farcaster hindered social login mechanics due to safety guidelines enforced by google and social providers
