Why are you participating for Based SEA?
We are participating to promote blockchain adoption in the SEA region through gamification. Our goal is to introduce users to the Base ecosystem in an engaging way and inspire more interest in decentralized technologies.
What challenges are you focusing on?
The main challenge is bridging the gap between new users and decentralized applications. We aim to make the onboarding process simpler and more enjoyable through gamified interaction.
How does your submission address this challenge?
Our clicker game educates users about the Base ecosystem projects while rewarding them for interacting. By adding rewards and dynamic visuals, we create an enjoyable experience that encourages users to explore more.
Challenges I ran into
Balancing fun gameplay with educational content was challenging. Technically, ensuring smooth animations for the bubbles without them sticking to the screen edges was difficult. We addressed this with optimized collision detection and velocity adjustments.
Additional Features
During the buildathon, we added more dynamic animations and enhanced the sound effects for the bubbles to improve interactivity. Additionally, we incorporated new reward mechanics for each popped bubble, creating more excitement and engagement for users.
