Base Art Club
based art for everyone, every budget, everywhere.
The problem Base Art Club solves
swipe. discover. collect onchain art on base.
base art club is the first swipe-based discovery platform uniting all base art marketplaces into one feed. instead of navigating multiple sites, collectors can explore artworks across zora, titles, transient labs, foundation, highlight, and others in a single, fluid experience.
what makes base art club stand out is its curated discovery algorithm that surfaces emerging artists and niche categories faster than any other platform, highlighting creators before they trend. our alpha build demonstrates this value through:
- a unified swipeable feed aggregating artworks from multiple base marketplaces
- early community testing to measure engagement signals (swipes, saves, and click-throughs)
- a gamified collector experience with leaderboards that reward engagement and taste-making
our goal is to make discovering art on base feel intuitive, joyful, and rewarding ...capturing the thrill of finding the next breakout artist!
Challenges I ran into
the biggest hurdle has been working with marketplace apis.
some integrations were inconsistent, and one service we relied on to pull listings from everywhere got discontinued.
for a while, we considered pivoting completely to focus on zora creator coins instead.
but ultimately, i still believe in the vision of onchain fine art discovery, so we pushed through and kept building towards that.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?
base art club makes discovering onchain art simple, social, and rewarding.
art on base is currently scattered across many marketplaces, which makes it hard for collectors and artists to actually find each other. we solve that by putting everything in one swipeable feed with filters by medium, price, and edition type, plus a collector leaderboard that makes collecting fun. our alpha tests this by integrating live marketplace data and measuring engagement through swipes, saves, and leaderboard activity.
Who is your target customer?
our target customers are digital art collectors and artists active in the base ecosystem.
we’ve confirmed this through ongoing feedback from creators we’ve worked with through Ìtàn World, AAWH, TITLES and other base art communities. most have shared that they struggle to keep up with art across multiple tabs and platforms. base art club directly responds to that pain point by giving them one unified discovery experience.
Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?
base art club isn’t a competitor, it’s a referrer. every artwork discovered through our platform links directly back to the marketplace where it was minted, with no fees taken for our discovery service. our goal is to increase visibility and transaction flow for base’s art ecosystem, not compete with it.
while marketplaces focus on minting and individual drops, base art club adds the missing discovery and community layer across all of them. we turn exploration into a game: swiping to like, saving for later, and climbing a collector leaderboard. our focus is creating social proof and excitement around base-native art.
we’re not another marketplace; we’re the entry point that connects all of them through a single, joyful discovery experience.
What is your distribution strategy and why?
for alpha, our strategy focuses on validating one key assumption:
a single, swipeable feed can meaningfully increase art discovery and engagement compared to browsing individual marketplaces.
we’re intentionally keeping scope tight to prove engagement before scaling.
alpha plan:
-
pilot cohort (50–100 testers) drawn from the ìtàn and titles artist/collector networks, who are already active on base
-
measure core metrics: swipes per session, time on platform, save rates, and click-throughs to original marketplaces
-
collect qualitative feedback via community calls and telegram groups
-
iterate quickly on feed performance and visual design before expanding to leaderboards and profiles
our distribution strategy relies on community driven loops rather than paid acquisition. by activating our existing base-native networks and social channels, we’ll gather authentic feedback, build excitement, and establish early champions who can onboard others organically once beta launches.
