The problem BALANCE solves

An app catering to gender neutral fashion.
Along lines of theme diversity and inclusion our app would promote gender equality and acceptance towards breaking gender bias. There is almost no representation of the trans community by big fashion labels so our models aim to provide that representation. Te masculine and feminine gender norms shouldn't dictate what one wishes to wear so we provide clothing that is gender neutral and individual-oriented.
We aim to prove the fact: clothing doesn't discriminate.

Challenges we ran into

For the fulfillment of our idea we need to create an app so we used Android studio for the coding in java and xml and the prototype using acd. Android studio is a very diverse, complex but user friendly platform so while installing the program in our system we faced quite a lot challenges. Due to low ram available in our system the installer was taking high amount of time and data. The prerequisites and the extra sdk's required almost 16gb ram having the required ram still created some issues. To solve the issues we discussed it within ourselves and YouTube videos and somehow managed to download the app. Due to little knowledge about java language and it being the major component for the working of Android studio we had a little problem in understanding and creating the codes but it was solved by working on our syntax and guidance from videos. The major bugs that we encountered were unable to install haxm and ecd error while making the code but after overcoming that problem we created our first app in Android studio.
