Challenges we ran into
1️⃣ Integrating Google Fit API
We faced issues with authentication and fetching real-time health data from Google Fit. The initial setup lacked proper token handling, causing API failures. Fix: Implemented OAuth authentication correctly and ensured secure token storage for seamless data retrieval.
2️⃣ Google Vertex AI Model Access
Initially, we struggled with permission errors when trying to use Google's AI models for diagnostics. Fix: Granted the correct IAM roles to our service account and switched to the Gemini API for AI-powered analysis.
3️⃣Real-Time Consultation System
Ensuring doctors and patients could join the same consultation link was tricky. Fix: Used Jitsi Meet API for auto-generated video call links and tested role-based access to sessions.
