AVASense
Control Your wallet with Just Your Voice.
The problem AVASense solves
Managing smart contract wallets can be intimidating and complex, especially for users unfamiliar with blockchain technology. Traditional wallet apps often lack user-friendly interfaces, require manual token transfers, and offer little protection in case of private key loss.
π‘ What Can People Use It For?
AVASense simplifies wallet management through an AI-powered assistant and smart recovery features:
π AI-Assisted Wallet Operations
Users can interact via voice or chat to:
- Ask Any Queries
- Send tokens
- Check balances
- Check Coin Prices
π Quick Setup of Smart Wallets
Automatically creates or retrieves a userβs smart contract wallet with a single connection.
𧬠Enhanced Security via Guardians
Add trusted guardians who can help recover the wallet if access is lost.
π¬ Natural Language Interface
Use simple, human-friendly commands instead of complex wallet interfaces.
β How It Makes Things Easier & Safer
- Reduces reliance on manual operations.
- Makes crypto wallet interactions feel like a conversation.
- Protects users from permanent loss with a secure recovery system.
- Bridges the gap between AI and DeFi in a practical, accessible way.
β¨ Features
π Smart Contract Wallet
- Automatically creates a non-custodial smart wallet for users on the Avalanche Fuji C-Chain.
- Ensures on-chain execution of token transfers and account recovery flows.
π€ AI Chat/Voice Assistant
- Integrated AI assistant lets users interact via text or voice to perform actions like checking balances, sending tokens, or initiating account recovery.
- Built for accessibility and convenience, especially for new users.
π Token Transfer
- Send any ERC-20 token supported by the wallet through a secure and verifiable smart contract method.
- Token parsing is AI-assisted for ease of use.
π Real-time Wallet Dashboard
- Visualize balances and token holdings.
- Automatically fetches token balances from the blockchain and displays them cleanly.
π‘οΈ Guardian-Based Recovery System
- Add or remove guardians for account recovery.
- Initiate, confirm, and execute recovery flows.
βοΈ Settings Interface
- Manage wallet settings such as guardians or view smart wallet address.
- Allows fine-tuned control for power users.
π Cross-Wallet Support
- Built with RainbowKit + Wagmi, supporting Core Wallet, MetaMask, WalletConnect, and etc.
π Deployed on Avalanche
- Uses the Fuji Testnet (C-Chain) for fast, secure, and low-cost transactions.
Challenges I ran into
𧱠Challenges I Ran Into
Building AVASense involved integrating multiple complex technologies, and we encountered several key challenges:
π 1. Wagmi & RainbowKit Compatibility Issues
While trying to configure getDefaultConfig() from RainbowKit, we encountered breaking changes and API mismatches due to version updates.
Solution:
We reviewed the latest docs, removed deprecated methods, and manually configured chains and providers using custom Wagmi + RainbowKit setup.
π§ 2. Initializing Wallet Signer Properly
The signer was not initializing correctly from ethers.js, causing runtime errors like Signer not initialized.
Solution:
We refactored the logic to pass the signer from useWalletClient() in Wagmi, ensuring consistent signer access.
π 3. Network Switching Between C-Chain IDs
Sometimes, wallets were connected to Avalanche Mainnet (43114) instead of Fuji Testnet (43113), triggering errors like network changed.
Solution:
We implemented a robust wallet_switchEthereumChain fallback to prompt network switch and added logic to handle unrecognized chain errors.
π 4. Smart Wallet Deployment & Retrieval
Handling new wallet creation and detection based on user address was tricky, especially when the factory contract returned the zero address.
Solution:
We added conditional logic to check for an existing wallet, create one if needed, and wait for confirmation before interacting with it.
