The problem Automatic Cereal Dispenser Machine solves

Do you know, on an average that each person consumes 1 kg of grains per month. Considering the population of 1.2 billion in India, we are talking about 14.4 billion kg of grain every year. Handling such a big amount of grain is a difficult task and requires large amount of labor, especially at major outlets like d mart, big bazaar etc. Not to mention the unnecessary contact of people with the grain at these places, since most of the grain is still sold in the loose and unpackaged fashion and also labors required lot of time to measure grains manually. As the solution I have made an automatic Cereal dispenser machine. This machine will provide accurate measure of food grains with less requirement of man force, this machine dispenses items such as rice, wheat to the customer automatically, after customer enters a amount of cereals like 1kg, 2kg on the keypad which is mounted on the machine then machine weighs cereal automatically and sink it into the polythene. Machine is capable of processing 1o kg amount of cereals at a time by using 230v power supply. Machine consists of load cell sensor, LCD Display, keypad, aurduino Uno, butterfly valve, Buzzer, LED, Transistor, Capacitor, Resistor, HX711, Funnel and LM7805, SMPS. In this machine load cell sensor is placed below the cereal container to load the dispenses items from container. When users enters the amount of cereals from container, at that time servo motor gets opened and start to dispenses cereals from container. The weight of dispensed cereals is continuously being compared with the entered amount. Once both matched, controller terminate the servo motor. The LCD screen is used to display the entered input as well as weighted amount of cereal. Once the level is the sensor sends terminating command to the controlling unit and butterfly valve get closed immediately.
Unique value proposition of our machine is, it is not available in the market till yet. Its design is new.

Challenges I ran into

Firstly Even I don’t know about the functions of electronic components and Aurduino programming because I am from mechanical engineering and my project is related to electronics and telecommunication engineering . But I found this problem and I really wanted to solve this problem, thats why I learnt the Aurduino programming and knew more information about electronics parts. For the programming and building this entire project I gave the help from my professor. While doing I learnt lot of new things.
