Why hesitate when you have your own world?

The problem AutisticRWorld solves

Autism affects every 1 in every 40 children in the world. Autism can't be cured but if identified early, effective measures can be taken to reduce the adverse effects of it. This is often difficult to analyze since they lack communication skills. We will build an AR/VR application that will avail the child to overcome his communication fears and avail him to learn in our VR environment as well. Features of our VR world:-
The child can roam around the VR world and interact with the characters who will respond both via text and audio which will help the child both to read and understand thereby diminishing his social awkwardness.
Our VR world will have a calm environment that will help the child share his/her interests and regulate their behavior while the parent can access information to understand his/her child's progress. Our application has virtual reality scenarios of real-life situations so as to help the child overcome his/her fear of that situation when it comes to real life.
We are building on Proven theories of VR bringing a change in real-life behavior of individuals:

Challenges we ran into

Working with Unity3d. Along with that, we had to research a lot in order to understand the diagnosis, causes, symptoms, and treatments of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
