Aura
Future of personal healthcare
The problem Aura solves
Patients often struggle with accessing accurate healthcare information quickly, whether it’s finding doctors, hospitals, or understanding medications and test results.
Medical records are fragmented across labs, hospitals, and personal notes, making it difficult for doctors and patients to share information efficiently.
Traditional apps either focus on one aspect (e.g., booking appointments) or are overly complex without integrating AI for diagnostics or record management.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating ML models: Brain tumor and fracture detection, as well as medication identification, existed in Kaggle notebooks but had to be made accessible via the app.
Mobile integration: Making AI scans and medication detection work smoothly in Expo React Native, including image uploads and real-time results.
Backend coordination: Linking patient-uploaded data with QR-scanned doctor access in a reliable flow without a full database or blockchain backend.
