The problem Attendify solves

The problems solved are:-
1)Missing attendance calls during class due to barriers like sitting far from the teacher’s table.
2)The paper wasted recording attendance.
3)The students not knowing whether he/she has been marked present or not.
4)Time wasted in recording the attendance manually.
5)Also a special problem which arrived due to the current situation i.e. everyone should wear a mask for his as well as the safety of others.

Hence, We have developed a real-time software that uses facial recognition to scan the face of the user and if the user is present in the database then his attendance is recorded which can be viewed by the user anytime.
Once the attendance is recorded a WhatsApp message to the user's registered mobile number is sent.
It also generates an alert when the user scanning the face is not wearing a mask.

Challenges we ran into

Previously the module was taking 2 mins to scan a new face. Then we trained the module and now it ltakes less than a minute to scan a new face
