The problem Attender solves
With the onset of the pandemic era many institutions started following remote learning mode in which instructor take classes through online meeting platforms like zoom, google meet, etc So that student can attend a lecture by remain at home
But what actually happens as students are at home most of them bunk online lectures due to which they are not able to prepare well for exams and learn things in a proper manner as currently, no platform is available to track whether the student actually attending lecture sincerely or not.
Also, it is being built with new Tech Stacks which includes express, CockroachDB, etc which makes it fast.
Challenges we ran into
- Designing an algorithm for tracking student attendance was quite hard for us.
- Implementing a designed algorithm is a harder choice.
- Training model with facial data.
- Learning and applying a new database CockroachDB.
