The problem AskTian solves

tiān protocol addresses two key problems in Web3: (1) unsustainable staking models, and (2) lack of differentiated user engagement beyond speculation.

Most staking systems either inflate unsustainably or fail to retain users once incentives taper off. Our solution is a gamified, time-based staking system that can sustainably offer up to 14,000% APY through a controlled, rule-based reward structure. It introduces time-gated participation and caps that prevent runaway emissions while still delivering high perceived yield.

At the same time, Web3 lacks culturally differentiated user experiences. We solve this by powering AskTian AI, a spiritual guidance layer that personalizes engagement using over 70 metaphysical systems. This turns our protocol into more than just a staking app—it becomes a platform with utility, identity, and ongoing engagement that’s unique and hard to copy.

Together, these systems give tiān protocol long-term user retention and defensible cultural moat.

Challenges I ran into

One of the key challenges was designing a secure reward distribution system that couldn’t be exploited to drain funds, especially under high user activity.

To prevent double-claims, bot abuse, or any attempt to bypass limits, we built multiple safeguards from day one:

Manual Approval Layer: Instead of allowing automatic fund release, every reward claim undergoes manual human review. This daily QC step ensures that even if bots attempt to exploit timing or logic gaps, claims are still verified before approval — adding a strong off-chain protection layer.

Reentrancy Protection: We implemented nonReentrant guards to block repeated execution in the same transaction context.

One-Time Claim Enforcement: Each user’s claim status is tracked (e.g., via _hasClaimedReferralReward or claimed mapping), ensuring only one claim per eligible cycle.

Merkle Proof Validation: Eligibility and claim amounts are cryptographically verified through Merkle proofs, preventing unauthorized access.

By combining on-chain security mechanisms with off-chain human validation, we created a reward system that is robust, abuse-resistant, and operationally secure by design — even before any real-world exploits could occur.
