The problem Ask to Pdf solves
The project addresses the challenge faced by students in effectively navigating and understanding complex academic PDF documents. By leveraging natural language processing and conversational AI, the app empowers students to ask questions, seek clarifications, and extract key information from their study materials, creating an interactive and personalized learning experience.
Challenges I ran into

Text Extraction: One of the challenges encountered was accurately extracting text from PDF documents. PDFs can have various formatting styles, including images, tables, and non-standard text layouts, making it challenging to extract the desired content reliably.

Natural Language Understanding: Another challenge was developing a robust natural language understanding system. Understanding and interpreting user questions in a conversational manner, while handling different sentence structures, synonyms, and context, required careful design and implementation to ensure accurate and meaningful responses.
