Through survivor stories and community engagement, it raises awareness and empowers individuals to rebuild their lives. Innovative features like a helpline directory ensure support is available 24/7, while initiatives to create job opportunities offer long-term empowerment beyond immediate assistance.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered technical complexities during the integration of features like the helpline directory and chatbot, which posed challenges in overcoming coding and compatibility issues.

Curating content, particularly survivor stories and resources, was a significant challenge due to the lack of firsthand experiences with survivors, making it difficult to sensitively present their narratives.

Engaging and retaining an active online community required the development of strategies to foster meaningful interactions and effectively manage conflicts.

Ensuring platform accessibility for diverse users involved ongoing testing and iterative improvements to address usability issues and accommodate various needs.

Despite these obstacles, our unwavering commitment to serving human trafficking survivors and our community drove us to persevere and continuously improve Arzoo.
