Challenges we ran into
One of the key challenges we faced was integrating the AI Voice Assistant into our platform.
🎙️ Ensuring smooth interaction between the voice assistant and our frontend interface was tricky, especially when handling real-time queries and responses.
🔄 Managing API call delays and synchronizing voice output with dynamic data from our healthcare system required multiple optimization cycles.
🛠️ We also struggled with cross-browser compatibility for microphone permissions and speech recognition.
How we solved it:
We modularized the voice assistant logic and built an intermediate layer to manage all voice commands.
To improve response time, we cached common queries and used asynchronous handling for external API requests.
Extensive testing across platforms helped us iron out permission issues and enhance user experience.
