The problem Apki Kaksha solves
Dementia is an illness of old age, usually characterized by a progressive decline in cognitive functions from the previous level. Loss of memory for the recent events is a classical feature.Medication from doctor can be input ,which will give reminders about at scheduled intervals.8 scientified activities are carried out every-day to re-develop cognitive thinking.Doctor is able to view the progress & diet of patient,provide suggestions.Caretaker gets reminder regarding patients , medications , diet and about scheduled family video calls on the phone.
Challenges we ran into
In implementing the feature for sending notifications regarding scheduled medications via sms medium on caretakers mobile phone , we had faced difficulty in integrating api in our django backend , thankfully due to the guidance of mentor Ishant Sharma we got to know about twilio push notifications are were able to implement the feature.
