The problem Anti-Fake solves
Anti-Fake addresses the global epidemic of academic fraud by replacing paper-based certificates with LUKSO-powered NFT credentials.
Our solution enables verified institutions to issue unforgeable digital diplomas, while employers can instantly authenticate qualifications through blockchain verification — eliminating:
- Document forgery
- Verification costs by up to 90%
- Trust issues in academic credentials
This is achieved through transparent on-chain records and IPFS-backed documentation.
Challenges we ran into

Smart Contract Authorization Flow: Ensuring only verified institutions could issue certificates required implementing strict access control via smart contracts.

IPFS Integration: Handling provider document storage securely and retrieving IPFS files dynamically posed challenges due to slow fetch times and occasional load failures.

Smart Contract Interaction Delay: Delay in transaction confirmations while interacting with smart contracts impacted user experience. We optimized this by improving loading indicators and user feedback during blockchain operations.

Role-Based Access Control: Managing permissions across students, providers, and recruiters without overwhelming UI complexity required careful architecture. We solved this by developing separate smart contract modules with role-specific interfaces and clear permission boundaries.

Universal Profile Adoption: Many users were unfamiliar with LUKSO's wallet system, creating onboarding friction. We addressed this by implementing interactive tutorials, contextual error messages, and step-by-step guidance for critical actions like signing certificate requests.
