The problem Annapurna solves

Food wastage is a huge problem in today's world. There are plenty of DONORS willing to give and many NGOs to receive and then distribute to the hungry. But the main obstacle is a connection between them. Our app ensures a 'Two Way Connection' between them. The donors can easily look for NGOs ready to accept whenever they have a sufficient amount. And the NGOs can also see the number of donors available whenever they want to reach the hungry.

Challenges we ran into

We faced a lot of challenges, firstly getting the Maps implemented in our app then the major challenge was to extracting the coordinates of the user and then using it to filter the areawise for both the Donors and the NGOs. Secondly, getting the database working and using the coordinates to sort it according was a mind-boggling task , we also faced a lot of issues while debugging as there were a lot of variables involved in this App.
