Well for one I had almost zero experience with Django before (like a 2) and started watching some tutorial videos 2 days before the competition and (felt that I) got a little hang of it. Come coding time and I'm depressed all first day when I couldn't even get the something i type to show up on the youtube tutorial's giithub code's app webpage. I also had to make my own Django webapp alongside the tutorial's to handle the anime side of things and had to include a token/coins system which forced me to actually learn Django enough to understand code and implement what I want to. I also had very little knowledge of styling and had to quickly look up using CSS to make the app look a little less ugly.
