Share notes securely

The problem Analos solves

Analos is a decentralized note-sharing platform running on the Arweave permaweb, allowing users to share notes and documents in a censorship-resistant and permanent manner. This project tried to encourage the sharing of notes by creating the ability for users to profit by selling them to others. All the user has to do is connect the website to their metamask wallet to share and buy notes.

During exam time, for example, many people will be in urgent need of notes, and Analos uses this kind of opportunity by allowing people to have easy access to notes and giving opportunity for people to make a quick buck in the situation through a decentralized platform running on Ethereum to mediate things between both parties.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was communicating things from the server side to the client side and vice versa. This was the team's first time making a full stack web application using next js and in hindsight, we should have gone for an easier javascript framework with a smaller learning curve. Another critical challenge we faced was communicating with the MongoDB database. Connecting to metamask through ethers.js was also hard at first.
In the end, we were unable to add a few features we had in mind because of the time it took to combat these challenges, but we are thankful for it as it is a great learning experience for future projects.
