The problem An NFT Marketplace solves

One of the main problems that an NFT marketplace solves is the issue of ownership and provenance in the digital world. Prior to the emergence of NFTs, digital content was easily copied and distributed, making it difficult to establish who the rightful owner of a particular piece of content was. NFTs, on the other hand, are unique digital assets that are verified on a blockchain, which makes it possible to establish ownership and track the history of ownership of a particular piece of content.

Another problem that NFT marketplaces solve is the issue of monetization for creators of digital content. By using NFTs, creators can sell their digital creations as unique, one-of-a-kind assets, which can increase their value and allow them to be bought and sold on the open market.
