The problem Amigo solves
Amigo solves a major challenge in education by transforming complex academic content into visually engaging and easy-to-understand formats. Traditional study materials like textbooks and PDFs are often dense and difficult for students to digest quickly. Moreover, manually creating summaries, flowcharts, and video lectures is time-consuming and not scalable for educators. Amigo addresses these issues by using AI to automate the extraction, summarization, and visualization of educational resources. It enables students to grasp difficult concepts faster and helps educators produce personalized content more efficiently.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge we ran into was integrating video generation through HeyGen. Even after mutiple stages of testing and debugging, our team could not find a way to make it work. We hope to fix that issue in the future and successfully integrate video geneartion from a text input.
