This system is designed to support Hajj savings management in a way that is transparent, secure, and easy to understand using blockchain technology, without requiring users to understand blockchain itself.
It helps individuals prepare for Hajj by ensuring that their savings are recorded, protected, and verifiable throughout the long waiting period.

What people use Amana for:
This application helps people save for Hajj in a secure and transparent way.
Users can deposit funds regularly while every transaction is recorded onchain, making the savings process verifiable and tamper-resistant.

The system reduces the risk of fund misuse by applying smart contract rules and multisig control. It also provides users with clear visibility of their savings progress without requiring blockchain knowledge.

Overall, the application builds trust and accountability in long-term Hajj savings management.

How it makes existing tasks easier and safer:
The application simplifies Hajj savings by automating deposits and withdrawals through smart contracts.
Funds are managed by predefined onchain rules, reducing reliance on manual handling and human trust.
Users can monitor their savings progress in real time with transparent transaction records.
Multisig and controlled withdrawal mechanisms add an extra layer of security against misuse.
This makes the saving process safer, more reliable, and easier to manage over time.

Challenges I ran into

One key challenge appeared at the early design stage, as the project had not yet entered full development. We needed to balance blockchain security with a simple experience for users who are unfamiliar with crypto. There was a risk of adding too many features for such a sensitive use case like Hajj savings.
To overcome this, we deliberately scoped the MVP to focus on secure fund deposits, controlled withdrawals, and transparent on-chain records.
Technical complexity is handled at the system level, while users interact through a clear and minimal interface.
