The problem AkiBot solves

One of the biggest barriers to entry for crypto right now is accessibility. DEXs are complicated with steep learning curves that deter new traders. With AkiBot, users can trade any tokens available on UniSwap directly through a user-friendly chat bot - straight from their phones.

AkiBot aims to replicate the success of similar trading bots on other platforms, such as BananaBot and BonkBot on Solana, which have demonstrated the potential to attract large-scale retail participation. BonkBot for example has over 300,000 active users and generates $30 million in daily volume. We believe that our product will have the potential to onboard more retail users to Starknet and generate more activity on the chain.

Overtime, we hope to develop this further and include features such as:

• custom slippage;
• customisable UI;
• price impact settings; and
• referral programs

Challenges we ran into

Building the backend to be responsive and with lowest possible latency required us to think deliberately about which data structures and algorithms we used. To overcome this, we designed custom data structures to house the latency sensitive components
