Problem Statement
Fraud and phishing attacks are increasing in online banking, emails and UPI apps. We need
an AI system that can quickly check website links, emails, and transactions to detect fraud
before users lose money.
Why This is Important- Online payments are growing fast, and frauds are also rising.- Phishing emails and fake websites cheat thousands of people every day.- Old security systems are not enough, as attackers now use AI too.
Challenges- System must work in real-time, or money will be lost.- Attackers keep changing their tricks.- System should not block genuine transactions by mistake.- Data privacy is very important for banking and user data.- System should handle millions of users at once.
Unique Features- AI can read email text and hidden links to detect phishing.- Check user behavior like typing speed and login time for unusual activity.- Give clear alerts with reasons (example: 'This link is unsafe').- Use multiple layers: link check + transaction check + device check.- Add small training games to teach users how to detect phishing.
Final Hackathon Deliverable- A browser extension or mobile app that flags risky links in real time.- AI plugin for UPI/banking apps to block unusual transactions and ask extra OTP.- A dashboard for organizations showing fraud attempts with charts and trends
