Our Heritage Sites
A heritage site, this is our identity, this is our history. It carries a special attribute for our locality, it has its own story. So that these are really valuable for us, we have to preserve them. I personally feel a special kind of responsibility for these sites. We all have to feel that if we want to preserve our identity.
UNESCO’s Next 50
According to UNESCO’s next 50 campaign agenda for making sustainable tourism digital transformation is the best option to make that possible. According to them the challenges experienced by the heritage properties are the symptoms of a crisis of global magnitude. So to overcome these challenges, we have to do something that is beyond the distance. Everybody should know and feel the special story instantly from their own place which will increase the curiosity to visit that site physically.
Our Solution
So, to preserve our story and that special attribute we introduce our Metaverse-based platform which provides main two features:

1. A virtual guide for enhancing the experience of tourists
2. And for the promotion of tourist destinations a 3D virtual gamified environment where anybody can explore, feel and learn from the story about the real heritage sites through a realistic virtual tour.

Challenges we ran into

It was really a very productive hacking time and we enjoyed it a lot although there were some challenges: It was really challenging to integrate NFT and blockchain with the Solana wallet, as our main source of data was crowdsourcing but because of the very little time we have faced a challenge to collect data for creating the metaverse. But with the help of our supportive mentors in the hackathon, we have tackled those challenges too giving 100% from our side. For our project, there wasn't enough time anyway although struggling with the time we somehow completed finally it. and we do have the confidence we can implement this project properly than this in the future and we have planned our timeline accordingly.
