The problem AI Gym Training and Tracking solves

In recent years, excessive gym use has been linked to several fatalities. People frequently exercise more than is necessary, which creates a number of health complications. As a result, we suggest that users use this initiative to monitor their gym training schedules.

Challenges we ran into

Using the Jupyter notebook, the project is implemented. When we utilise the Python programming language, it offers a wide range of libraries that support and accommodate Machine Learning applications. These libraries include:

OpenCV
Mediapipe
Numpy
Streamlit

We developed the frontend of our web application using streamlit. Here, the mediapipe library's landmark functionality—which aids in locating different joints in the human body—is the key area of concentration. The marks on the joints are depicted in the diagram on the slide after that.
