Why are you participating for Based Africa?
my participation in Based Africa is driven by a passion for empowering others, fostering innovation, and creating educational opportunities that can lead to meaningful change in the region. I am committed to being a part of the movement that transforms Africa into a leader in technology and innovation.
What challenges are you focusing on?
Many individuals in my community lack access to quality educational resources, particularly in technology and digital skills. This gap limits their opportunities for personal and professional growth. Through the support of Based Africa, I aim to provide free educational materials and training programs that make technology more accessible.
How does your submission address this challenge?
My submission, the AI Education Hub, is specifically designed to address the challenges of limited access to quality education, digital literacy, and youth unemployment in my community. The AI Education Hub is an interactive online platform that provides free educational resources focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications.
Challenges I ran into
Challenge: Initially, I encountered challenges with specific AI concepts and web development technologies, which made it difficult to create comprehensive tutorials and resources.
Solution: To overcome this, I dedicated time to online courses and tutorials on platforms like Coursera and Udemy to deepen my understanding of AI and web development. I also sought help from online communities and forums, which provided valuable insights and support.
