The problem Tic Tak Toe Game solves
This web-based Tic Tac Toe game allows two players to play interactively in a browser without needing any physical board or paper. It can be used to improve logical thinking, pass time, or add fun to educational environments. The game helps simulate basic decision-making processes and is a great example of DOM manipulation for beginners in web development.
Challenges I ran into
One of the challenges faced was implementing the winning condition logic accurately for all possible combinations. Initially, the game didn't correctly identify winners in diagonal combinations due to an off-by-one indexing error. Debugging using console.log() helped trace the issue, and updating the logic with a predefined list of winning index combinations solved the problem. Another minor hurdle was preventing multiple clicks on the same box, which was fixed by disabling the box after each valid move.
