The problem AGROGYAN solves
we noticed that an average indian farmer doesnt have access to the research happening in the domain of agricultural sciences, to remedy this we made AGROGYAN a plattform where we use AI to translate and simplify the leading reseach into short articles that the farmers can understand. these articles also have actionable steps that the farmers can perform to increase their yeild. We also have a video conferencing feature that helps farmers connect to experts in agricultural science, we can use this feature to conduct largescale lectures and seminars. our UI is also compeletely in hindi to make it more accesible to farmers.
Challenges we ran into
we ran into a couple challenges when making this project - 1) issues with the video conferenceing api. we overcame it by devoting time to study the documentations in depth.
2) we tried to intrgrate the chatgpt api to make translations of the articles in real time but ran into a lot of errors and had to scrap that plan
3) we tried to integrate webscrapping but failed to do so as we dont have any expertise in backend development
