The problem Agro connect solves

we are aware about the situation of farmers in our country , they work day and night keeping complete efforts and their hard earned money , but the amount of profit that they are getting is not what they deserve , they deserve a greater chunk of profit from selling the vegetables. the main problem is the middlemen who tend to take a large portion of margin as it reaches from farmer to customer,

our app is a small effort to bring the change in the system , we aspire to change the transaction system of agro related products using blockchain ,

• each crop has a unique ID in the block chain , and the create(farmer) has his address in this unique ID
• we plan to make vegetables into NFTS , and thereby making the farmer as its creator , and giving farmers royalties whenever the crop is resold ,

problems that we have solved:

• farmers can now be assured that they can get good profit
  -hoarding can be reduced ,as everyone in the blockchain is aware on who has how much quantity
  -exploitations by middlemen can be reduced
• transport agencies can easily get bids as the crops are easily visible in the block chain , then can plan their deals with farmers

Challenges we ran into

-implementing royalties in block chain
it was very difficult for us to implement smart contracts as this was our first time
therefore, keeping the small timespan in mind , we have decided to shift to firebase as of now ,so the project implements features of block chain , but its not using any blockchain network
but we feel delighted that we have found that block chain in an awesome field , we are sure that in future we will make a DAPP 🤩

-collaborating with friends
using git hub was really fun, we were able to integrate and update our progress easily, but in one situation we faced a problem , we had conflicts , later we were able to solve the conflicts

-using alan.ai
it was the first time we tried this awesome API, after completing all the steps given in the documentation when we ran the program, we did not get the button shown,
we were confused and , tried all the resources , StackOverflow , youtube and checked many other websites, after an hour , we just re-installed , and to our surprise alan.ai worked 🥳,
