The problem AggriCurrent solves

Our website addresses the pressing issue of smart management of food storage and waste reduction. In a world where food waste is a significant problem, our platform aims to provide a solution by helping users effectively manage their food storage and reduce unnecessary waste. We recognize that improper storage often leads to spoilage and expiration of food items, contributing to the global food waste crisis. Our platform empowers individuals and households with smart tools and strategies to optimize their food storage, Sell their produce, and even has buying options on the very same site. By promoting efficient food management, we contribute to minimizing food waste, saving resources, and fostering a more sustainable and environmentally conscious approach to daily living.

Challenges we ran into

First of all it was tough to understand what product the problem statement wanted us to make, wether we had to make a logistic provider or a generic platform but when we finally understood what the the statement asked we provided along with our added features to the website. Also team coordination was a mess, being in the same college yet not being able to perform together due to interhostel rules was tough to handle but we finally came through and sat in the common waiting room provided outside the hostel for as long as it took to prepare our website. Meanwhile on the coding end the problem we faced was not having a back end developer in the team, which we had to learn overnight and finally integrate with our front end to make a working prototype.(username for login page-farmer )(password(farmer@123)
