This project addresses the challenges in data exploration and analysis across diverse domains by developing advanced solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies. The first component focuses on implementing RAG with Langchain and OpenAI to create a powerful data retrieval system tailored for the IMDB media dataset. This enables users to efficiently retrieve and summarize a wide range of media-related information, empowering seamless exploration and analysis. The second component involves developing a Q&A system using ChatGPT and embeddings specifically designed for sports analytics. This system allows analysts and enthusiasts to interactively query sports-related datasets, gaining deeper insights into various aspects of sports performance, strategy, and trends.
Challenges I ran into
Throughout the project, several challenges were encountered, including optimizing the performance of the RAG model for large-scale datasets, integrating Langchain and OpenAI embeddings effectively, and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of responses in the sports analytics Q&A system. Overcoming these challenges required fine-tuning model parameters, optimizing query processing pipelines, implementing context-aware answer selection algorithms, and iterating on system architecture and deployment strategies.
