we are using machine learning algorithms and techniques like object detection and time series analysis for efficient waste management
The problem advance waste management system solves
it solves the current problem of inefficient waste management by using ml algo object detection and time series, the current bbmp solution for this is a web app in which they ask general public to upload images of waste produced in their area ,but the people are not motivated to do so , therefore we completly removed it by integrating the dustbins with cameras which will directly take the image once the waste is dropped in the dustbin
Challenges we ran into
our biggest problem was machine not powerful enough to train the computer vision datasets for large model
