Buy and Sell Attention on Farcaster

The problem Adsterix solves

Adsterix makes buying and selling attention on Farcaster feel effortless. No more DMs, no manual swaps, no guessing. Creators list time-boxed slots, and the frame auto-renders the right image + link in the cast at the right time—fully on-chain and transparent.

For creators / influencers

  • Before: Chasing sponsors in DMs, swapping creatives by hand, unclear pricing, missed windows, uncertain payouts.
  • After: Set up your slots once and let them run. The frame updates the image + link on schedule. Pick One-Shot (fixed price) for predictability or Auctioned for price discovery. Payouts are clear and verifiable.

For advertisers / brands / apps

  • Before: Opaque CPMs, slow back-and-forth, generic feeds, and shaky delivery.
  • After: Self-serve a creator’s slot, upload an image + link, and go live in minutes. You get guaranteed, contextual reach inside trusted casts, with on-chain clarity from purchase to payout.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?

Adsterix makes it easy to buy and sell attention on Farcaster. Creators list time boxed slots inside a cast, and advertisers upload an image and a link and they are live. When the slot changes, the creative automatically switches to the current buyer, giving guaranteed, contextual reach with transparent payouts.

Adsterix also removes gatekeeping. Users and brands can book placements with creators, no intros, no middlemen, no DMs. Pricing is clear (One Shot fixed price or Auctioned market price), booking is self serve, and activation takes seconds, so projects of any size can tap into real attention, fast.

Who is your target customer?

Target Customers

  • Creators/Influencers
Monetize attention with zero effort: list time-boxed slots once, and the frame auto-renders buyer creatives on schedule.

  • Advertisers (brands, apps, users)
Promote content instantly inside trusted creator casts. Choose One-Shot for fixed-price speed or Auctioned for market pricing; upload image + link and go live in seconds.

How We’ve Validated the Audience

We spoke with several influencers, and they all told us that content promotion on Farcaster is currently very limited. A solution like Adsterix could have a major impact by providing an innovative, fully on-chain ad system where simplicity is the defining feature. In tests with a few creators, we also saw that advertisers immediately understand how the platform works, confirming the product’s clarity and low friction.

Competitive Landscape

amps.fun

  • What it is: A bounty-style promo tool: users put up a reward and pick influencers; if those influencers recast/like the post, they get paid.

  • How it differs from Adsterix:

    • Action-based vs. time-based: Amps pays for actions (recast/like), while Adsterix sells time-boxed attention inside a cast.
    • Off-cast coordination vs. native slotting: Amps relies on influencers choosing to act; Adsterix guarantees a scheduled slot that auto-renders in the creator’s cast.
    • Uncertain delivery vs. guaranteed window: With Amps delivery depends on influencer behavior; with Adsterix delivery is scheduled and verifiable.

qrcoin.fun

  • What it is: A single on-site QR code whose destination is sold via auction; the winner’s link is what the QR points to.

  • How it differs from Adsterix:

    • Single surface vs. creator network: QRcoin has one placement (their QR). Adsterix lets any influencer create their own ad slots—scaling inventory across Farcaster.
    • Site-dependent vs. Farcaster-native: QRcoin forces users to visit their website/miniapp; Adsterix is Farcaster-native, keeping discovery and conversion inside casts/frames.
    • Generic audience vs. contextual reach: QRcoin’s audience is whoever visits their site. Adsterix delivers contextual reach inside specific creator casts with known audiences.

Why Adsterix wins

  • Native surface: Runs inside Farcaster casts (no tab-hopping).
  • Creator-owned, scalable inventory: Every creator can list slots: no single choke point.
  • Simplicity & effectiveness: Upload an image + link and go live; frames auto-update on schedule.
  • Flexible pricing: One-Shot (fixed price) for speed or Auctioned (market pricing) for revenue maximization.
  • Transparent & verifiable: On-chain ownership, fees, and payouts.

PS: Adsterix and amps.fun could benefit one from each other.

What is your distribution strategy and why?

Current status
We have already engaged several large influencers to help us test. After the announcement we also received inbound interest from creators who are actively trying the product.

Phase 0 — Live testing with early supporters
A curated list of creators and projects is helping us validate the flow, iron out UX issues, and collect feedback.

Phase 1 — Prove the model with 10 creators
Recruit 10 influencers plus a small cohort of projects and users to run real campaigns. While they operate, we aim for organic spread through their casts and communities, supported by light amplification to make Adsterix more visible.

Phase 2 — Stabilize and scale
With a more stable product, we start tracking unit economics.

Early sizing (illustrative)
Pricing is hard to estimate, but as a pessimistic baseline:
100 creators × 10 slots × 5 USD ≈ 5,000 USD GMV per day across 1,000 sales.
At a 0.10 USD flat fee per slot, protocol revenue ≈ 100 USD per day (~3,000 USD per month).

Using 20,000 creators instead of 100:

  • 20,000 creators × 10 slots each × $5 = $1,000,000 GMV/day
  • Fee at $0.10 per slot: 20,000 × 10 × $0.10 = $20,000/day
  • Monthly (30 days) revenue ≈ $600,000
