DeFi’s promise of high yields and financial autonomy is hindered by significant challenges that deter mainstream adoption. Research suggests that only a small fraction of cryptocurrency users engage with DeFi platforms due to the following barriers:

Technical Knowledge Gap: DeFi requires users to evaluate smart contract security to avoid exploits, a task requiring expertise beyond most users’ capabilities.

Complex Financial Concepts: Terms like impermanent loss, liquidity mining, and yield,staking,LST are unfamiliar to non-experts.

Gas Fee Management: High transaction costs on blockchains like Ethereum, especially during network congestion, demand strategic timing and optimization skills.

Cross-Chain Navigation: As DeFi expands across multiple blockchains, users needs to invest assets at different blockchains just for yields, and the challenge of using cross-chain bridges to move assets.

Rapid Protocol Evolution: DeFi protocols frequently upgrade, introducing new features and mechanisms.

These barriers make DeFi inaccessible to billions of potential users, such as teachers, doctors, or small business owners, leaving their assets idle in wallets. Industry reports indicate that 78% of crypto owners cite complexity as the primary obstacle to DeFi engagement, highlighting a significant untapped market opportunity.

These are the pool that we support:
Low Risk Pool
A conservative approach focusing on well-established pools with proven stability, high TVL (Total Value Locked), and consistent fee generation.

Medium Risk Pool
A balanced approach that achieves moderate risk and return. Targets pools with good trading volume and reasonable APR while maintaining acceptable volatility levels.

High Risk Pool
An aggressive approach targeting maximum APR that accepts higher volatility. Focuses on newer or more volatile pools with potential for significantly higher returns.

Challenges we ran into

IMPORTANT:
No Company building experience: If selected for the Network School Fellowship, we'll leverage this opportunity to transform A$CE from a promising product into a unicorn. Our team brings strong technical skills and a deep understanding of DeFi's challenges, but we recognize our knowledge gap in company building and go-to-market strategy.
Other Challenges:
This project definitely had its challenges! Time was the biggest constraint - balancing all the features we wanted against the hackathon deadline and a full-time job was tough.

I planned to implement EIP 7702 to streamline the user experience and eliminate repetitive transaction approvals, but had to prioritize core functionality first. Similarly, while I focused on making the contracts work correctly, I couldn't spend as much time on security auditing as I'd have liked.
