Our project aims to save lives by accident detection and calling for help
The problem Accident Alert System solves
our device can be attched anywhere like helmets, bikses, cars, goods, etc. to detect an accident and send a call to the specified person followed by a sms containing exact locatioon of the incident.
Challenges we ran into
we faced a problem of minimising the size of our device but we could efficiently do so by using small components like arduino nano and gsm module. Another problem was the detection of false accident due to jerks that can be caused by the mistake of users, so we added a button to cancel the call and sms when a false accident is detected.
