The problem Aaveigenlayer solves

Lenders earn extra yield on top of their deposit interest by restaking

Borrowers can borrow from the lending protocol with the most liquidity and best safety, with ( almost ) any collateral.

Aave could acquire more lenders just like how ETH staking volume increased after Eigenlayer and more borrowers that might have used other lending protocol that supports their desired collateral.
